Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for Supporting, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native solutions on the GKE platform

Responsibilities:

• Support and implement cloud-native architectures leveraging GKE.
• Support, deploy, and manage containerized applications on GKE.
• Optimize GKE cluster performance and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve GKE-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GKE features and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations for GKE support.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Hands-on experience with GKE.
• Expertise in cloud computing concepts (IaC, networking, storage).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Certifications in Google Cloud or Kubernetes.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of specific GKE features like Autopilot, GKE Multi-Cluster Management.
• Experience with Istio or other service mesh technologies.
