Cloud Engineering Architect

Job Description:

As a Cloud Engineering Architect at EY, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions to address our clients' unique business challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise in cloud technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Strategy and Design:
Develop and implement comprehensive cloud strategies aligned with business objectives.

Design scalable and cost-effective cloud architectures based on industry best practices.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Implement Infrastructure as Code practices for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources.

Utilize tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to define and deploy infrastructure.

Cloud Platform Expertise:
Possess in-depth knowledge of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.

Evaluate and recommend suitable cloud solutions based on client requirements.

Security and Compliance:
Implement robust security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in the cloud.

Stay abreast of industry compliance standards and ensure cloud solutions adhere to relevant regulations.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders.

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.

Optimization and Performance:
Continuously assess and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.

     Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions across diverse industries.
Certification in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
