About the Role:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Manager at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, you will:

Architecting and engineering cloud infrastructure within AWS to support both existing services and greenfield projects. Maintaining and optimizing cloud assets to ensure high performance and cost efficiency. Participating in a team responsible for the upkeep of a diverse suite of applications, including SaaS, PaaS, and in-house developed solutions. Supporting the Head of Technology with the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture and processes. Responding promptly to urgent technical incidents, including providing out-of-hours support as needed. Collaborating with various stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Preparing for and contributing to cybersecurity audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and practices.


About You

To be our Cloud Infrastructure Manager, you will likely have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Professional certifications in AWS Cloud Services (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) or equivalent years of experience working in a AWS engineering role (3-4 years).
Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS environments.
Strong background in cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Knowledge of scripting and automation with languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience preparing for audits.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during incident response.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with agile methodologies and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to project management.
Willingness to be on-call and respond to emergency situations as required.
