Job Summary: As a Cloud Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and managing relationships with clients to sell our cloud services and solutions. You will work closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs, demonstrate the value of our offerings, and close sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify, Scout, and generate potential leads & clients in target industries. Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share. Be a stakeholder for end to end sales cycle.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Understand clients’ business needs and challenges to provide tailored cloud solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals. Create and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of cloud products.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close sales deals. Prepare and present proposals, demos and contracts, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to position our solutions effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure alignment and support throughout the sales cycle.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular updates and reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience of 2+ years in B2B sales, preferably in cloud (AWS) computing or technology sales. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills: Strong understanding of cloud services and solutions, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are a plus.
