As a Cloud Security Engineer, you play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining security controls to protect cloud-based systems and data. Your technical expertise and proactive approach are instrumental in safeguarding organizations against cyber threats in the cloud.

Implement and manage security controls within cloud environments to protect against threats.

Configure and maintain IAM policies, access controls, and encryption mechanisms.

Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.

Monitor cloud infrastructure for security incidents and respond promptly to mitigate risks.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

Automate security tasks and workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency.

Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices in cloud computing.

Assist in the selection and implementation of security tools and technologies for cloud environments.

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies relevant to cloud computing.

Experience with security assessment tools, SIEM systems, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation frameworks.
