Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline Cloud operational support, incident management, and administration for Client including AWS, Snowflake, MongoDB Atlas, and Confluent Cloud
- Identity and Access Management across various Cloud platforms
- Cloud secrets management including deployment, rotation, and tooling integration
- Design and implement centralized observability and monitoring/alerting solutions to ensure availability
- Manage Cloud backup and recovery solutions for critical infrastructure
- Assist with implementation of Cloud Security policies and guardrails
- Create and maintain Terraform IaC to ensure architectural consistency and security
- Design and implement best practices for operational excellence, security, reliability, performance, efficiency, and cost optimization across Cloud platforms
- Create and maintain documentation related to the Client Cloud Program
- Mentor junior team members on secure Cloud Ops design principles and IaC
- Stay current with industry trends and lead operational innovation initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- AWS Cloud Architect Associate certification or equivalent
- 3+ years hands on AWS Support experience
- 5+ years hands on experience in Information Technology, preferably in financial services
- Strong knowledge of Terraform or Python based orchestration tooling and source control experience (Github)
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies and best practices
- Familiarity with cross-cloud monitoring solutions (DataDog preferred)
- Cloud Incident Management experience and ability to participate in on-call rotation
- Experience with backup and recovery tooling (AWS Backup preferred)
- Experience working with Linux/UNIX and Docker or other container technologies
- Able to work as part of a high performing, collaborative team with minimal supervision
