Cloud Support Engineer

About the job

Required:

Experience with GCP or AWS: Knowledge and proficiency in managing cloud services provided by Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Basic DevOps skills: Familiarity with DevOps practices, which typically include automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Green Card/US Citizen AND US Soil: Legal authorization to work in the United States is required for this position, with the additional requirement of being physically present in the US.

Incident management & on-call: Ability to handle incidents that occur in the production environment and participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues outside of regular working hours.

Nice to have (Optional):

Containers: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

Terraform: Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tooling for provisioning and managing cloud resources.

GitLab: Familiarity with version control and collaboration platform GitLab.

ArgoCD: Experience with ArgoCD, a tool for continuous deployment of Kubernetes applications.

Kubernetes: Understanding of Kubernetes, an open-source container orchestration platform.

Vulnerability management: Knowledge of practices and tools used to identify and address security vulnerabilities in systems and applications.

Ansible: Proficiency in Ansible, a configuration management and automation tool.

Python: Programming skills in Python, a commonly used language in automation and scripting tasks.
