Cloud/Azure engineer senior
Location: Hybrid- Virginia (ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES FROM DMV AREA)
Experience: 10+ years

Must Haves: 
Must have 5+ years of experience with IaaS offerings from Azure - they should be a SME when it comes to the different features or services that are offered. 
-Must have experience with Azure AD - configuration and integration of those within an enterprise setting. 
-Must hands on experience container orchestration, specifically with Docker and Kubernetes. 
-Strong preference for AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service). 
-Must have a background in development with programming experience using either Python or Java.
- A candidate with previous fintech experience would be ideal.
Must have solid experience and knowledge in the Azure Platform, Terraform (IaC tool), Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) configurations, SSO Federation etc.

Requirements:
-Deep understanding of Azure cloud computing technologies & services with demonstrated hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains:
-Azure Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability
Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD, ADFS, etc.
-Containers and container orchestration platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
GitHub Copilot: setup, administration and maintenance
-Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python)
Preferred skills / Qualifications:
-Data Platform and Bigdata: Blob storage, Vector DB
-Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source)
-Azure Cloud fundamentals certification
