You Are

UST is looking for talented and creative Cloudera Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in the BigData - Cloudera space, specifically on medium to high complexity assignments. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the BigData Hadoop Ecosystem and a proven track record of working with Cloudera version 6 or higher.

The Opportunity

 

  • Showcase an understanding of different Hive table formats and the ability to work with them effectively.
  • Interpret the application, feature, and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
  • Code, debug, test, document and communicate product, component, and feature development stages.
  • Validate results with user representatives, integrating and commissions the overall solution.
  • Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components while creating own solutions for new contexts.
  • Optimizes efficiency, cost and quality.
  • Influence and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Influence and improve employee engagement within the project teams.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the Agile way of working, adapting to dynamic project requirements and contributing effectively to Agile development processes.

What You Need

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in BigData - Cloudera development.
  • Proven expertise in Cloudera version 6 or higher.
  • Strong proficiency in Hive/Impala, Sqoop, Oozie Workflows/Schedulers, Shell Scripting, PySpark, and SQL Queries.
  • Knowledge of different Hive table formats.
  • Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the BigData Hadoop Ecosystem, with hands-on experience in Cloudera environments.
  • Cloudera Version 6+: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Cloudera version 6 or higher, showcasing proficiency in Cloudera's latest features and capabilities.
  • Exhibit efficiency in utilizing Hive/Impala, Sqoop, Oozie Workflows/Schedulers Shell Scripting, and PySpark for development tasks.
  • Possess strong SQL querying skills, enabling effective data retrieval and manipulation within Cloudera environments.
  • Familiarity with Power BI is considered an added advantage, contributing to enhanced data visualization and reporting capabilities.

Any Graduate
