Cobol Programmer

Project Summary:

We are seeking skilled COBOL Programmers to join our team and work on our Amysis platform, focusing on the preadjudication process for claims. The ideal candidate will have experience with COBOL programming and a strong understanding of claims processing systems, particularly in insurance or healthcare settings

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing COBOL applications that support the preadjudication process, ensuring claims are reviewed and assessed accurately before making final decisions

Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain COBOL Applications: Design, code, test, and maintain COBOL programs that support the preadjudication process on the Amysis platform. Ensure applications meet business requirements and function efficiently

Preadjudication Process Support: Implement and enhance functionality within the Amysis system to manage the steps involved in the preadjudication process, including claim submission, eligibility verification, preliminary assessment, and data validation

Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to COBOL applications and the preadjudication process. Provide timely support and solutions to ensure system reliability and performance

System Integration: Work on integrating COBOL applications with other systems and databases as required. Ensure seamless data flow and consistency between Amysis and other platforms

Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation for COBOL applications and processes. Generate reports and provide insights into system performance and claim processing metrics

Required Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
