Description


·  Experience in designing and developing large scale distributed systems Good understanding of concepts like concurrency, parallelism, event driven architecture
· Familiarity with state-of-the-art DB technologies and tradeoffs: distributed DBs, time-series DBs, relaxed consistency models, columnar storage
· Experience with technologies like CockroachDB, NoSQL
(e.g. Cassandra, Redis,MongoDb ), Kafka,
· Investigate and improve performance of
queries and supporting infrastructure 
· Build proofs of concept resilience /
multi data center to test out new solutions
Build out a team to improve database management 
· Good understanding of concepts like
CockroachDB partitioning, Concurrency, transaction's, parallelism & event driven architecture
