Computer Aided Design Engineer

Job Description:

Expert level proficiency in CAD Debugging

Expert level proficiency in CAD Perl or Python

Expert level proficiency in CAD Root Cause Analysis

Expert level proficiency in CAD Scripting and Automation

Intermediate level proficiency in CAD Software Engineering Methods

Education Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Required Years of Experience

5+ years CAD experience, EDA experience, or related work experience

Job Responsibilities:

Develops and applies Computer Aided Design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems. Interfaces with various cross functional teams (Design and Verification Engineers, IT Engineers, external EDA vendor application engineers, and internal CAD teams) to discuss, analyze, and review verification tool and flow issues and develop specs, review, and validate fixes and enhancement requests. Supports project execution and works toward improving cost, operational efficiency, productivity, and time to market.
