Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the upcoming Client Production Engineering Project for the battery plant.
  • Support planning for installation of machines and processes related to the new production lines.
  • Support construction management of contractors tasked with equipment installation.
  • Confirm installation quality of machines and processes related to the new / modified production lines.
  • Support Client with the planning and assessment of feasible options for construction related activity.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction environment, with previous history in project management / supervision of large-scale schedule driven activity.
  • Understanding Mechanical, Electrical and Fluid specifications for procuring equipment for install.
  • Strong Mechanical experience for the ability to set, level and adjust large complex machinery.
  • Schedule of manpower and understanding of overall schedule for large job completions.
  • Understanding and strong utilization of MS Excel, Word, and PPT.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD for drawing review, bid pack creation.
  • Ability for business travel to other Client facilities for on-the-job training until the North Carolina plant is a functional site.

 

Bonus:

  • Previous skilled trades experience a plus. (Ironworker / Millwright / Pipe Fitter)
  • Experience with machine uncrate, installation, setting, leveling.
