Controls Engineer

Job Title: Controls Engineer

About the role:

A mix of commissioning, testing, identifying bugs/issues, and some development. As this role is a little bit of boots on the ground to facilitate maturing a developed or in the development stage product/products

Qualifications:

Experience with IPC-based control systems. Preferably Codesys experience and Beckhoff Experience. However, if they are a strong Beckhoff candidate we would take a look
Experienced with OOP implementation and structured text programming language
Understanding of software design patterns and software/Controls architecture
EtherCat field protocol experience
Onsite controls commissioning experience (Troubleshooting/bug identification)
Great communication skills and the ability to articulate problems at different technical levels

Preferred Skill Set:

Familiar with HMI and visualization development
EtherNet IP field protocol experience
Familiar with Git and code management processes
Good electrical engineering experience (low voltage -50V)
