CPQ Product Implementation Specialist – Telecom

About the Role:

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing a CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system specifically for a Telecom Communication Service Provider (CSP). You'll bridge the gap between sales, product, and engineering teams, ensuring accurate and efficient quoting for complex telecom offerings like Dark Fiber, Direct Internet Access, Colocation, and Managed Network Services.

Responsibilities:

•          Possess a deep understanding of Enterprise Telecom products and services, including Dark Fiber, Direct Internet Access (DIA), Colocation, Managed Network Services, etc.

•          Understand partnership capabilities, working relation, pricing, OLAs and integration

•          Analyze diverse customer requirements related to bandwidth speed, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), timelines, and performance expectations.

•          Identify all necessary information required to generate accurate quotes, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process.

•          Analyze historical quotes, categorize them based on key features, and identify trends and variations in customer requirements.

•          Experience configuring CPQ solutions, ideally within the context of Telecom service providers.

•          Understanding of integration touchpoints between the CPQ system and other relevant platforms (e.g., CRM, billing).

•          Ability to write clear and concise business test cases to validate the functionality of the configured CPQ system.

•          Minimum 10 years of experience in a technical or product-related role within the telecommunications industry.

•          Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

•          Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders from sales, product, and engineering teams.
