Summary of Position:
- Client has an opening for an CRM/Salesforce Developer. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs.
Specifically, the Developer will:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Customize and configure Salesforce applications to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and implement improvements as necessary.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3 years of experience performing customizations and configurations on CRM platforms
- At least 5 years of experience developing web applications in C# using MVC, XML, and creating and consuming WCF/REST services/WebAPI.
- 3 years of experience developing .NET plugins using C# and writing JavaScript for customizations.
- At least 3 years of experience with .NET Framework 3.5 or higher and IIS 7.5 or higher.
- At least 5 years of experience writing complex queries in T-SQL.
- At least 3 years of experience developing reports using SSRS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within timeline.
- Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus but not mandatory.
