What You'll Do

  • Conduct weekly review progress meetings with Superintendents, Foreman, and project teams to identify scope gaps, risks, project goals, and recovery plans.
  • Document construction project risks and issues that may affect schedule, quality, or budget.
  • Create continuous site improvement concepts and practices to the team which will support working efficiently, handle material proactively, and coordinate closer.
  • Experience leading and managing multi-discipline projects working for General Contractor on commercial projects with architectural build-out, structural, and MEP familiarity.
  • Must be experienced in reading, interpreting, and implementing Contract Documents and Specifications.
  • Review project documents and be able to work with Project Manager to buy-out projects, and assist with tracking, managing, and enforcing contracts.
  • Must be able to review change orders for accuracy.
  • Must be able to work on multiple high-profile, fast-paced projects at once.
  • Be responsible for all field supervision and coordination of multiple trades. Must be able to spend most of the day in the field.
  • Track overall project progress and heath; provide detailed daily reports of each project.
  • Create, manage, update, and enforce overall project schedule based off project documents. Compare and track baseline from actual and report variances. Familiarity with Primavera P6 scheduling.
  • Ability to generate and submit RFI’s, when required.
  • Must be able to field verify existing conditions against Contract Documents and bring up, or address, foreseeable issues.
  • Be able to communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders from contractors, design/engineering, and QA/Commissioning teams.
  • Ensure adhere to contractors’ Quality Control standards and support internal Quality Assurance/Commissioning for turnover of MEP systems.
  • Review, submit, and track inspection requests.
  • Experience working on quality architectural finishes projects such as cafeterias, restrooms, offices, and break areas.
  • Familiarity with building and MEP codes.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Ideally 10+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, electrical, life safety and controls scopes.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and Construction Cost/Data Analysis.
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead your times through challenging projects.
  • Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
