Job Description:
The client requires the services of a Senior Specialist for Curam reports design and development for Client's Subsidy Child Care program and also for Client's data de-identification and sub setting solutions

  • The Client Services seeks a contractor to assist with the design and implementation of NC Families Accessing Services through Technology.
  • This role analyzes and identifies reporting requirements for Client's Case Management System reports and develops recommendations to effectively report data of mid to high level complexity.
  • This is related to varied business metrics and for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting reporting solutions, while enhancing existing reports to ensure that solutions continue to meet business need based on understanding the underlying data sources (databases) and interpreting requirements provided by the business to analyze operational issues and develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data via reports and dashboards.
  • These requirements are used to write complex report queries using big tables, report layouts, and necessary supporting data structures. Duties also include gathering and documenting requirements for new reports and changes to existing reports, analyzing existing complex reports queries, analyzing report and query data to fix the Report issues, Developing BIRT reports (Business Intelligence Reports), as well as write effective SQL queries with large tables with good performance, extraction or collection of data for performing queries, writing reports and developing and analyzing operational performance metrics and reports to ensure the quality and integrity of extracts through the use of validation and audit strategies. Acquisition of this resource is essential to timely development of the client O&M projects.
  • This position needs knowledge on Curam reporting.
  • This position provides help with several USDA reports and helps in developing and executing archival strategies. Also this role needs to enhance and automate several reports.
  • This position should be able to meet dashboard needs of the department using Tableau.


Skills:

  • Experience programming and design of large scale web based distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Oracle Utilities, ETL tools, OEM tools for data de-identification and sub setting
  • Experience with SQL scripting and Relational Database modeling.
  • Experience with structured system development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT
  • Good communication skills both oral and written and ability to maintain effective working relationships with end users and staff.
  • Data Warehouse experience
  • Previous experience working with State government
  • Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL coding.
  • Experience using Curam software to develop reports.
  • Experience with Bitbucket
  • Knowledge with Data analytical tools such as Power BI and Tableau
