About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (experience may be substituted for education but must be clearly described).  
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role designing, implementing, and supporting information security solutions in enterprise and cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies, both on-prem and in the major cloud provider environments.
  • Proven experience in digital forensics and incident response in various flavors of Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X operating systems 
  • Deep understanding of scripting languages, data structures, API integrations, and infrastructure as code
  • Experience supporting or managing vulnerability management programs and initiatives.

It would be great if you also have . . .  

  • Familiarity with one or more: CIS benchmarks, NIST CSF, ISO27001 or SOC2 frameworks
  • Experience working with security vendors to evaluate products, analyze security functionality and submit feature requests.
  • Experience developing and maintaining security tool integrations and automation.

  • CISSP, SANS GIAC, or other security-related industry certification(s)

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Primary focus of this role is on managing the Cyber Security Vulnerability Management Program. A successful candidate will possess all the items outlined above and be able to successfully work in a multifunctional team to deliver results.
  • In addition, you will be assisting with incident response activities and escalations from the L2 SOC analysts.
  • Your expertise in Cyber Security will be leveraged in vendor conversations, building requirements, supporting requests from the business, and various other operational tasks.
  • You will be responsible for building solutions to safeguard our organization's information systems and playing a key part in identifying and mitigating complex security threats and vulnerabilities. You will work closely with the cybersecurity engineers and members of the SOC to contribute to the development and implementation of security tools, procedures, and controls to enhance Clarivate’s overall security posture.
