Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Implementation Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network security infrastructure. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our network systems and data.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify weaknesses and recommend remediation measures.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and other security appliances.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security best practices into network architecture and operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies.


Technical Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks), IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network access control (NAC) solutions.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems for log analysis and correlation (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
  • Knowledge of encryption algorithms, PKI infrastructure, and secure communications protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, IPsec).
  • Familiarity with penetration testing tools and techniques to identify and exploit network vulnerabilities.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA/CCNP Security, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7- 10 years of experience in network engineering or cyber security roles.
