Data Analyst I

Job Description:  

This position will be responsible for: 

Creating custom data analyses and visualizations to drive effective decision-making for demand-supply planning, capacity planning and SIOP 

Defining user requirements to develop metrics, tools and dashboards 

Improve existing tools and dashboards per customer feedback 

Making data-based business recommendations and influencing stakeholders 

Design and coordinate the development of systems and tools to keep pace with the group’s growing and rapidly changing businesses 

Build customer dashboards for Supply Chain Planning and SIOP 

Job Qualifications: 

Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights 

Experience in working with databases and SQL in a business environment (redshift, postgresql, oracle, Mysql) 

Demonstrated ability to build and manage Tableau / PowerBI /Quicksight dashboards 

intermediate Proficiency with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) 

Undergraduate degree in business, data, engineering, or a related field would be preferred. 

. 2-3 years of experience with data analysis. 

Direct experience in operations or supply chain planning a plus; Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

Demand Change tracker creation  

Creation of Dashboards like Late Demand, Cancellations, Consolidated LTs, Site Health, Material Health, CTB for Buy Products 

Typical Day in the Role: 

Very collaborative role, Team will provide requirements for dashboard and testing. 

Will be giving and receiving feedback with the team.  

Will have to put time on teammates calendar for feedback on tasks. 

Candidate Requirements: 

Leadership: invent and simplify, dive deep, bias for action  

Red Flag: only experience with data/dashboarding in school. Need actual work history. Currently in school, may have conflicting priorities if in school full time as well. 

Top 3 must-have hard skill: 

Demonstrated ability to build and manage Tableau / PowerBI /Quicksight dashboards
