Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data structures to support our organization's data needs.

Prior experience in Financial Services Domain or Asset Management domain is a MUST

Client work location: London

Working model: Hybrid with 2 or 3 days in a week at client office

Applicants who are currently in UK with Right to work in UK would be preferred.

Responsibilities

 

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for various business domains.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data structures.
• Implement and enforce data standards, ensuring consistency and integrity across the organization's databases.
• Optimize database performance through effective indexing, partitioning, and query optimization strategies.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate data models into applications, ensuring seamless functionality
• 6. Establish and enforce data governance policies, addressing data quality, privacy, and compliance concerns
• 7. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data modeling processes.
• Create comprehensive documentation for data models, ensuring accessibility for team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance data modeling skills
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
