What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Data Analyst working close to one of our main clients in banking sector.

Main Tasks And Accountabilities Will Be

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data analysis for various business domains.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data structures.
  • Implement and enforce data standards, ensuring consistency and integrity across the organization's databases.
  • Optimize database performance through effective indexing, partitioning, and query optimization strategies.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate data models into applications, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, addressing data quality, privacy, and compliance concerns.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data analysing processes.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for data analysis, ensuring accessibility for team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance data analysing skills.

     

What UST expects from you?

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of common and latest analysing techniques and architectures, (Data Mesh, Data as a Product, Data Vault, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
  • Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud is valuable.
  • Proficiency in data analysing tools and techniques (e.g. Erwin, PowerDesigner, EA Sparx)
  • Knowledge of analysing notation languages and methods.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Good english level (B2-C1) you will be working with international teams.

     

Valuable and desirable: being entitled of Disability Certificate (at least 33% score).

Work Location

100% remote within Spain.

Work schedule

Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
