DATA ANALYST

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Use data to figure out market and business trends for companies to increase profits and efficiency.
• Provides design support for the development of business intelligence solutions.
• Participate in use of complex computer programs to mine data sources and look for trends.
• Work with source systems to document new data sets.
• Work with architects and business leaders to acquire a solid understanding of the domain, current state of technology and the strategic direction guiding future efforts.
• Participate in the definition of both functional and non-functional requirements of a system and define the BI delivery strategy, standards and support tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of ETL Informatica and Dimensional Modeling.
• Experience with MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, etc.).
• Experience in Financial Services or a related industry a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environment preferred.
• Proven track record of solving real world problems using data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or related degree is required. Master’s degree in these would be given preference.
