Data Analyst - PowerBI/SQL

• Design, construct, and sustain BI data models to enhance data accessibility and scalability, ensuring prompt responsiveness and adaptability to evolving business demands
• Utilize Power BI, and other relevant tools to create intuitive data visualizations, interactive reports, and dashboards that represent complex business data in a clear and concise manner
• Create, monitor, track and publish monthly key account reports/metrics
• Responsible for driving assigned KPIs across the business; review and create actions items to drive efficiencies across the business and increased performance
• Will be building dashboards with data points such as:
  • Operational metrics (ex: cost, run time, ratio, accuracy/precision, etc.)
• Create and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making
• Integrate and transform data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• The analyst will support strategic initiatives associated to cloud computing, by helping to migrate code, data and processes, and reconciling results against existing procedures
• Support the Product Owner manage a sprint and product backlog to ensure readiness of user stories for the upcoming sprint
• Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data requirements
• Work with data engineers on development efforts including designing, coding, testing, and debugging during each cycle
• Provide technical support and training to end-users to maximize the utilization Power BI capabilities
• Participate in the development and maintenance of documentation related to data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to trace given transactions through a complex system and document how systems and overlapping processes interact
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be proactive and self-driven, demonstrated initiative and be a logical thinker
• Internship or academic experience with programming languages like Python, SQL or any other programming language
• Experience creating visualization using PowerBI or similar tools
• MS Excel (Data Analystics, Pivot Tables)
• MS Outlook (email, calendar, navigation)
• MS PowerPoint (Create and make presentations)
