Description

Responsibilities:

Validate and reconcile data between the new homegrown accounting system and Oracle Financials.
Utilize Alteryx or similar tools to extract and manipulate large datasets for validation purposes.
Create and execute workflows to streamline data validation processes.
Identify and resolve discrepancies and inconsistencies in data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of data validation activities.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration).
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Financial Analyst working with large datasets.
Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, or R.
Experience with data validation and reconciliation processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with accounting principles and financial systems (preferred but not required).
