Data Analytics Associate

NA has a client in Mansfield, MA that is seeking a Data Analytics Associate. Summary: The Data Analytics Associate is primarily responsible for supporting the Global Brand and Corporate finance teams in developing and executing their data analytics program. In addition, they will support the Global Brand team members in using business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods of improving operations. This role will need to independently work to navigate complex concepts/data sources, manage big data, and anticipate upcoming challenges within the data space to provide viable solutions. The Data Analytics Associate will also work closely with the Global Brand and Corporate Finance teams, and business leaders across the company to identify and implement high quality, data-driven reporting. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for the company. This position will be able to support multiple teams and concurring projects

Required Skills : * 5 years of progressive experience in industry (e.g., public accounting firm are large, complex multinational Company -ideally manufacturing, distribution, retail, etc.) * Highly refined analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail * Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including effective presentation skills), collaboration and time management skills are required * Strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence * Proficient with SAP, Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Platform, Microsoft Power Bi/PowerQuery and Altaryx, Tableau * Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Access Preferred Skills and Industry Experience: * BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Computer Information Systems/Accounting Information Systems or other business/information technology discipline is required; MBA or other degree is preferred * Professional certification is strongly preferred (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent) * 3 years of data analytics work experience and knowledge of data quality assurance data analysis and data modeling is preferred * Experience with statistical and analytical tools packages such as R, Python, Matlab, Minitab is preferred * Displays a strong worth ethic and takes initiative in solving problems and presenting solution is preferred
