Data Analytics Engineer

They really want an Analytics Engineer, strong with SnowSQL and doing complex data analysis. Responsible for designing and implementing complex data sets. Someone who has done troubleshooting on snowflakes and resolved issues related to the data. Not someone building ETL pipelines or scripting. 

About the Position:
This team handles the foundational data that is crucial for their day to day business. They are the provider of data. 
Data analysis, build user stories, perform data analysis to identify data issues and then resolve them (key foundational org for this individual)
The Sustainment process comes through the ticketing system (internal AT&T system called sunrise) and they will get assigned to the ticket.
Specialized data set that they are working through. 
It is a fast-paced environment. If something goes wrong with the data it impacts people’s paychecks, discipline, executive forecasting, see how services are doing, call center performance, etc. I Want this person to be able to quickly pick up the data and find a resolution for the issue.
60% of the role will be working through data bricks, snowflake, spark SQL
40% doing the analytics to figure out, trouble shoot, and fix the data issue. (Figure out why it is not right, once you figure out why it isn’t right you need to come up with a solution and then work with the CDO partners to get it corrected, implement it and deploy it in production. Have to communicate back to the user acknowledging that you got it and are working on it then letting them know it is resolved.)

Must Have Skills/ Requirements, in order of Priority:
Snowflake software – from a development perspective – need to be able to elaborate more on their experience
Writing queries and understanding what is happening to provide a solution
Snowflake development tools such as time travel
Performing analytics - Data analysis, build user stories, perform data analysis to identify data issues and then resolve them (key foundational org for this individual)
