Role: Data Analytics Tech Lead
Location: 100% Remote (Canada)
Position Type: Long Term Contract

Requirements
-Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with Cloud Data Platforms especially AWS and different BI tools like Qlik, Tableau and/or ThoughtSpot
-Experience in Design, build and configure Snowflake DWH to meet business process and application requirements.
-Hands-on experience in writing AWS Lambda, Glue, EMR, Python, and Spark jobs.
-Hands on experience building dashboards using Qlik or Tableau and self service tools like ThoughtSpot
-Candidate should have good experience with Data pipeline, data manipulation and data visualization.
-At least one/two Snowflake design end-to-end implementations with long-term project association.
-Experience in Snowflake design review processes and resolved technical problems.
-Experience in query tuning and optimization, designing Sort and Distribution keys.
-Experience in processing design optimal queries to aggregate data and build reports or data feeds for downstream sources.
-Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems
-Solid grounding in Agile methodologies
-Experience with git and other source control systems
-Life Science Domain experience is desired

Skills:
-8 years Object Oriented programming experience preferably in Java
-5+ years of experience in Java SpringBoot development
-3+ years of experience with Docker containers
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Cloud Data Platforms especially AWS
-Expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, Athena, etc.
-Experience in integration technologies (e.g. SOA/ Web services: REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Messaging, File Transfer)
-Experience in web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Javascript frameworks like Angular, React, Ember, Polymer, Backbone or similar.
-Experience with GIT Version Control Systems.
-AWS Certification is a plus
-Experience with development in a multi-tiered release environment and Continuous Integration
-Mulesoft experience is nice to have.
