Data Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION:

o            Perform analysis of business requirements and develop logical and physical data models for data warehouse to support them.

o            Provide guidance in the administration of the DataStage ETL tool including developing best practices of development, administering security, developing job scheduling and monitoring techniques, and all other system responsibility including creating, configuring and applying patch, creating projects, credential mapping, creating users, changing passwords, start stop applications activities.

o            Analyze business/functional requirements, review the solution architecture, and develop the technical architecture and detailed design.

o            Analyze data issues, identify and articulate the business impact of data problems

o            Perform code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural standards, guidelines, best practices, and meet quality standards.

o            Deploy the solution on a high-availability shared service production environment.

o            Understand and comply with the established software development life cycle methodology.
