Data Architect

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler with over 10 years of experience to join our team onsite in Bentonville, AR. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the retail domain, with a strong emphasis on relational database management systems (RDBMS). While experience in data warehousing is beneficial, this role primarily focuses on data modeling within the retail sector. 

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into comprehensive data models.
- Analyze and optimize database structures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across various databases and systems.
- Implement best practices for data modeling and database design within the retail domain.
- Work closely with developers, analysts, and other team members to integrate data models into applications and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure successful implementation of data models.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data modeling, preferably in the retail domain.
- Proficiency in relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
- Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
