Data Architect

• Some language (Java, .NET, etc..). Does not matter which, just background coding with years of experience
• Data modeling, data integration
• Infrastructure skills (Containers, Cloud Hosting)
   

Position Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Data Architect who is a very thoughtful and possesses both technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to partner with internal and external teams to develop scalable, flexible, and cutting-edge solutions.
• You will set the overall vision, strategy and data architecture within the Employee Experience Technology organization and will be expected to collaborate with peers within the company to define and execute that data architectural vision. 
   

You will be expected to have experience or exposure in the following: 
Deep knowledge of data structures and platforms
Experience with data mapping and transformation techniques
Ability to work across a variety of third-party applications and internal built solutions
Experienced in integration architecture
Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems
Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve
Proven ability to define, implement and maintain world class enterprise level business systems and architecture
Experience in application development for large-scale highly resilient
Someone who has seen a process from proof of concept to release
Comfortable challenging the status-quo
Excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
Excellent initiative, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to analyze details and adopt a big-picture view
Excellent Analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation skills
Ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly way

Required Skills: 
Essential Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture at an enterprise level
• Strong understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Advanced understanding with one or more of the following: OLTP (SQL Server/Oracle), OLAP/BI (Informatica/MicroStrategy/Power BI/Tableau/MuleSoft), Big Data (Hadoop, Apache Spark, MapReduce, etc.), NoSQL, data streaming, in-memory data management, real-time analytics, cloud data services
• Prior knowledge of data warehousing and modeling tools and strategies
• Experience designing and optimizing integration solutions across all common integration styles batch, micro-batch, API, streaming, messaging, etc.
• Experienced architecting IT solutions On-Premise and Cloud Hosted
• Software engineering and design architecture
• Experienced with API protocols and schemes (SOAP, REST)
