About the Role:

Job Title: Healthcare Data Architect

Project Summary:

As a Data Architect specializing in Big Data, ADF, Azure Cloud, and Healthcare Claims, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions to support the collection, storage, processing, and analysis of healthcare claims data.

Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architecting scalable and efficient data pipelines, and ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.

You will also play a key role in optimizing data processes, identifying opportunities for automation, and driving innovation in data management practices.

Responsibilities:

Provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy

Develops enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features

Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers

Provides expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Shell and UNIX Scripting

Hands-on experience in Big Data and Azure platform

DB knowledge (DB-2, SQL Server, Teradata)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience - 7 years of experience in multiple IT areas and 3 years of relevant architecture experience

Requires advanced to expert-level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application systems design and integration.

Location: Chicago, IL/Richardson, TX (3 days onsite a week)
