Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement DataDog monitoring solutions for various applications and infrastructure components.
- Design and configure custom DataDog integrations to collect and visualize metrics from different sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify monitoring requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to monitoring, alerting, and data visualization.
- Create and maintain comprehensive dashboards, alerts, and reports in DataDog to provide real-time insights into system performance.
- Monitor the health and performance of production environments and proactively address potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in setting up DataDog-based automation for scaling and deployment processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging DataDog features to continually enhance monitoring capabilities.
- Contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DataDog Developer or in a similar role, with a focus on monitoring and observability.
- Solid understanding of monitoring concepts, metrics, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
- Solid working experience of Splunk and AppDynamics
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their monitoring capabilities.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
