What We Expect From This Role

2+ years of Data Engineer experience in Snowflake (on Azure Cloud Preferred). 
Strong knowledge of SQL to build queries and Optimization techniques.
Strong Knowledge of the ETL process using SSIS / ADF (Azure Data Factory) / Matillion 
Knowledge of Python programming is an added advantage. 
Knowledge of Apache Airflow is an added advantage. 
Knowledge of FiveTran or other no code ETL tools. Experience with data streaming tools and real-time data technology 
Ability to investigate complex issues across multiple systems. 
Ability to build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. 
Manages time to focus on priorities across multiple projects. Desired Education/Skills: 
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Excellent presentation, time management, and organizational skills. 
Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
Experience with working in highly motivated Agile Teams. 
Experience mentoring engineers.
