Data Engineer (Integration Development)

Requirement

Our client is requiring a person with experience in working with Databases in multi-cloud, tenant environments.

This position will design, develop, support and document data flows from line of business applications to other line of business applications or to the Data Warehouse.

A solid knowledge of T-SQL & PL/SQL, Java and python is required.

Experience in both large and high frequency data loads, techniques and optimization methods is a plus.

Collaborate with IT to design and model application data structures, storage and integration in accordance with enterprise wide architecture standards across legacy, web, and cloud and purchased package environments.

Developing and executing test plans and scenarios including data design, tool design, data extract/transform, networks and hardware.

Ensure compliance with HIPPA, PCI, PII, Federal and State required data policies/best practices as required.

Ensure appropriate capture and retention and metadata management of data.

Knowledge of web technologies that facilitate the exchange of information between organizations such as (S)FTP(S), REST, SOAP, JSON, etc is a plus.

Ability to write technical and non-technical documents, communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and provide technical support resolving incidents, and creating/closing tickets.
