We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Data Engineer to work on Remote basis.

PROJECT DETAILS (Size, Scale, Scope):
- What is the scope of work that is being completed? Loyalty and Rewards Backlog and other projects.
- What part of the project is this resource supporting? Non SOW team working through backlogs
- Day to day responsibilities:
- L&R program has major backlog - 4 major projects to tackle (likely happening consecutively)
- Rewards payout dashboard (dashboard built by Centene - power BI)
- Devs will be working 100% with the data and in the DB
- Strong SQL skills to ensure pulling in the correct data and queries built out to populate the data in the PowerBI dashboard
- Currently no visibility into the data on what is being paid out - this data pull and dashboard with give visibility
- Goal is to be able to identify the issues/what is not being paid out before it gets escalated from the members or health plan
- Reward updates
- This is what they do on a regular basis
- One CE will get switched out and go to work with the Core team; and a Centene FTE will join this team to work through this
- Updating rewards in DB with requirements needed to generate the monetary reward balance
- Heavy SQL work - a lot is built out through to draw from since this is what the core team does consistently
- ETL background will be needed
- Talend is moving the data around in the background and over to the vendor
- Automate the reward redemption process (in Talend)
- Automating and manual ETL process they have in place
- This project still needs to be flushed out some (Centene will flush out, Devs will be given clear work when they get to this project)
- It is currently a manual process to trigger reward payout and they need to automate the process
- Need to know Talend for this project - it is built in Talend, need to schedule the jobs the right way so they are picked up and automatically processing
- There could be some API development needed here (but they do have this skill set internally - would be a nice to have for our Devs)

- This team is 100% focused on the data side - heavy work with SQL and Talend work
