DATA ENGINEER

Data Engineer. Job duties include: ? Gather and document requirements and develop functional specifications with a focus on ETL and Business Intelligence. ? Perform data analysis to source and target RDBMS tables information to implement the design of ETL mappings, transformations, workflows, scripts and commands to meet business requirements. ? Provide ETL design, architecture, and transition strategies that support the development and implementation of the enterprise data warehouse and associated data marts. ? Design and create logical/physical data models based on requirements. ? Develop ETL process with regard to design, development, testing and migration to production environments. ? Write and execute ETL test scripts. ? Extract data from sources including Oracle, MS SQL Server, flat files, and XML files. ? Transform data and load into multiple targets like MS SQL Server and Oracle database and create flat files and XML files. ? Create high-level documents and low-level documents as per business requirements. ? Design and develop Business Intelligence reports based on ad-hoc and functional requirements. ? Participate in ETL and Business Intelligence knowledge transfers. ? Provide post-implementation support and resolve critical and high priority tickets as per the SLAs. Requirements: Master's degree in Comp Sci, Engg, IT or related with at least 6 months of experience.
