Description
We are looking for Data Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts. The Data Engineers are responsible for expanding and optimizing the data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. The candidate should be experienced in data pipeline builder and data wrangler and who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. The Data Engineer will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
Responsibility

Requirements

- Possess a product/engineering mindset to drive impactful data solutions.
- Experience working in distributed environments with global teams.
- Knowledge or experience in architectural best practices for building data lakes.
- Expertise with big data technologies, including Spark, Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Hive.
- Expert-level ability to write complex, optimized SQL queries across extensive data volumes.
- Experience with RDBMS and OLAP databases like MySQL, Redshift.
- Solid understanding of batch and streaming data processing techniques
- High proficiency in Scala/Java and Spark for applied large-scale data processing.
