Data Engineer

Job Description:

• Need a Data Engineer or Data Modeler that can ingest source data into a data lake layer snowflake and then
• we create an object on top of that. Define that raw data into a business layer.
•  Business Analysts will do all requirements from the business side. BA will identify the sources and what are
• we trying to replicate, identify the business definitions and send them to the data engineer.
•  The Data Engineer/modeler ingests raw data, Create Objects, builds a data mart view, and is consumable by
• the business. Send back to BA to validate with business.

Primary Skill Set:

•  5 years of SQL Coding (Query building, stored procedures exp, good join conditions understanding, simple to
• complex SQL exposure)
•  Snowflake cloud experience. 1 year if available (since new technology)
•  Good understanding of the Snowflake cloud platform from a Data engineering perspective
•  Snowflake SQL development knowledge
•  Good understanding of Data lake, Data warehouse, and data mart concepts
•  Source code management and Git knowledge would be a plus
•  Agile experience
•  Good communication
•  Basic to medium Python proficiency
