Data Engineer

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain efficient data pipeline architecture.
• Construct large, intricate data sets meeting functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements, automating manual processes and enhancing scalability.
• Establish infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
• Build analytics tools leveraging the data pipeline to provide actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to address data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Ensure secure data separation across national boundaries and multiple data centers.
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist teams to optimize product innovation.
• Work with data and analytics experts to enhance functionality in data systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and provide scalable, defect-free solutions.
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams for pipeline optimization and defect-free code production.
• Comply with company policies and practices related to the System Development Life Cycle. Provide Tier 3 support for escalated IT issues. Support audit and compliance reporting requests.
• Operate MarkLogic and Snowflake products on a 24/7 basis as needed.
• Support production environment during emergencies.
• Participate in a 24x7 weekly rotation for on-call support of Informatica.
