DATA ENGINEER (Scala Developer)

IMPORTANT SKILL:

Tech stack
• Scala
• Spark
• AWS (EMR, Glue, Lambda, S3)
• JavaScript/Typescript
• MongoDB/DocumentDB
• Terraform

Things we are looking for:
- Experienced with object oriented with Scala or Java with at least the knowledge of and desire to work with Scala and functional practices

- Nice to have experience with some or all of the following: Spark or SQL, AWS (EMR/Glue/S3/Lambda), terraform and graphql

- Experienced with implementing and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD) to build, test, and deploy artifacts

- Believe in optimization, efficiency and testing

- Believe in incremental delivery and able to take complex business requirements and write software to achieve those requirements
