Job Description:

Key Candidate Attributes:

• Strong background and experience with.
• Writing SQL and working with and querying cloud-based data stores like Snowflake.
• Working in the Microsoft Power platform.
• Building and maintaining visualizations using Power BI, including using PowerQuery, writing DAX, and writing PowerQuery M functions.
• Developing and supporting PowerApps.
• Performing basic statistical analysis.
• UI / UX experience.
• Apply design best practices to visualizations.
• Working in the Azure cloud environment.
• Using Databricks to perform data processing / curation / contextualization.
• Working in other visual analytics / BI tools like Spotfire and Tableau.
• Developing and designing websites (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
• Familiarity with oil & gas concepts; experience working in O&G domain a plus.
• Self-motivated and practical solution seeker.
• Willingness to build on and support existing work products, while having the ability to identify and propose process improvements / efficiencies.

UI/UX and Development:

• Redesign of PO KPI visualizations / map to new data products.
• Redesign of Angola KPI visualizations / map to new data products.
• Data product hardening, distribution, and “marketing”.
• Review PBI / Spotfire dashboards across assets for commonalities to identify common calculations to include within the data product.
• Document common practices across assets.
• Work with PBI teams to update PBI data flows to point to new data products.
• Support the creation and maintenance of other PO PowerBI dashboards and data flows.
• Manage interface with production data squad, test production data products, and field enhancement requests.
• Support and maintain deployed Power Apps – POOL++, Maturity Assessment, etc.
• Support and maintain PO Portal.
