Data Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled data engineer with experience in Teradata, Informatica, SQL, DBT, Ctrl M, and GCP to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data analytics and machine learning initiatives. The candidate must be highly experienced in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Responsibilities: Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse using tools such as Informatica, DBT, and SQL Develop and maintain ETL workflows using scheduling tools like Ctrl M to ensure timely and efficient data processing Create and manage data models for the data warehouse, ensuring data accuracy and consistency Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, and develop and implement data cleansing and enrichment procedures Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their requirements and design and implement solutions that meet their needs Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure optimal performance of the data warehouse Monitor data processing and ETL performance and troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, ETL workflows, and data flow diagrams Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools related to data engineering, and make recommendations for their adoption as appropriate Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL, data modeling, and data warehousing Strong proficiency in Teradata, Informatica, SQL, DBT, Ctrl M, and GCP Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
