Job Description
 
Role:                                 Data Engineer - SQL+VBA
Experience Level:           0 to 1 Years
Work location:                Mumbai, Bangalore & Trivandrum
Qualification:                 BSC IT/MSC IT/MCA/B.E./B. Tech.

Role & Responsibilities:
● Work with data engineers and customers to solve data problems by developing good analytical
reports, which enables the customer to right planning and to make better business decisions
● Design and build new reports and applications on Excel, automate the current process to a great
extent using SSIS and Excel Macros
● Generate monthly Excel based BI reports for Supply chain data observations for sales, OIT and
Inventory
● Capturing and improving the demand plans from the markets, to identify risks & opportunities
● Creating reports on Inventory data for better planning for the upcoming months

Skills expectation:
● Must Have
o VBA & SQL queries skills
o Basic knowledge of Python
● Good to have
o GCP - cloud function, dataflow, bigQuery, Pub-sub, data store, google cloud storage
o Basic knowledge of GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab

Behavioral Skills
● Effective communication with all the stakeholders involved
● Need to communicate clearly about complex subjects and technical plans
● Must also have the ability to interact with other members of the team (Juniors, Seniors, ATA, TA, BA,
etc) to get their designs from concept to development
● Keeping various audiences in mind, engineer must write their reports in clear language accessible to
all
