Data Governance Manager

Focus of this position is Data Governance change management/implementation, relationship building and working with the business on education and maturity of datagovernance program.  Informatica experience is highly desired.  The resource needs to understand technical side, but will not be building data extract (ETL) processes, etc. 

The INDOT Data Governance Manager will be the lead partner with the Director of Digital Analytics in continuing to mature INDOT data domains, train and develop data domain Trustees and Stewards, establish new data domains, implement data governance policies and lead the implementation of Informatica. The Data Governance Manager will be actively engaged with INDOT Data Domain leaders across the agency in maturing the data governance program and on-boarding new data domains. The implementation of INDOT data governance policies and data governing technologies will be key priorities. This is a business facing role within INDOT IT focused on the identification of data quality issues and participating on the solution teams. Understanding of business process flows and how data integrates with business process is key along with understanding data governing concepts and approaches. Informatica experience is preferred, and this position does not have any direct reports
