We need profiles for a new team we are starting in the NY/NJ office for Optum

The ideal candidate should be in the NJ and/or NYC area and have the following qualifications:
The HIM Data Integrity Analyst is responsible for the managing and executing the overall accuracy and quality of Protected Health Information within our systems. The role encompasses the maintenance of the Master Patient Index (MPI), and the integrity of all medical records within the EHR system.
•          Use various tools to perform chart corrections, patient account merges and overlay resolution within the EHR system. 
•          Perform regular maintenance on patients’ records to ensure compliance with various laws and government standards.
•          Perform Identity management functions including, patient account validation, interface errors, overlay resolution etc.
•          Analyze data for errors and works to resolve them, escalating appropriately when necessary.
•          Perform root causes analysis on data discrepancies, working with HIM management to rectify identified issues.
•          Perform other duties/special projects as assigned.
HIM Release of Information:
Primary Responsibilities:
•          Coordinate all medical records requests for Protected Health Information, PHI (both electronic and paper), tracking them from receipt to completion.
•          Verify authenticity of medical record requests, review for completeness, copy records, protect sensitive information, perform quality assurance on the records to be released.
•          Certify copies of medical records when requested, completing the associated forms, and notarizing such requests.
•          Participates in chart reviews and medical records audits.
•          Work with several systems, including medical information on paper to retrieve the requested information, acting as a liaison with our ROI vendor.
•          Answer calls from patients, attorneys, physicians/clinicians, insurance companies etc., to coordinate requests for medical information.
•          Work efficiently and in a timely manner following the applicable state and federal timeframes to fulfill requests for medical records by patients and third-party requestors.
•          Transmit the requested Protected Health Information (PHI) to recipients using the appropriate delivery method.
•          Provide outstanding customer service to all patients and other requesters.
•          Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
