Job Description

" Primary database skill Oracle Server

Analyze on premises transactional database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, evaluate and plan migrations to AWS RDS, Aurora

Develop enhanced database PLSQL scripts/TSQL to migrate from source database to target database

Identity workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration

Develop test plan and testcases to demonstrate database readiness post migration

Good communication skills

Experience in Database Administration - installation, configuration, database access management, backup and restore, replication, high availability, disaster recovery

Hands-on experience on AWS Services - RDS, Aurora, SCT, DMS

Experience migrating large databases > 1TB in size across multiple database engines (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, etc.)

Experience with heterogenous database migrations

Experience in performance optimization techniques

AWS Certified Database - Specialty Certification (preferred)

AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certified (optional)

Experience in ETL workflow management (optional)"
