Job Description

We are seeking a talented Database Modeling Expert to join our team and play a key role in designing the modern canonical data model for our API abstraction layer. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our clients to understand their legacy data models and transform them into efficient, scalable Relational or NoSQL database architectures.

Responsibilities

Analyze and understand clients' legacy data models and business requirements.

Design and implement modern canonical data models in PostgreSQL and Cassandra to support API abstraction layer development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between data models and application requirements.

Optimize database performance and scalability for read-intensive workloads.

Develop and maintain documentation related to data models, schema design, and database architecture.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in database modeling, schema design, and database architecture, with expertise in PostgreSQL and Cassandra.

Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database concepts and principles.

Experience working with legacy systems and modernizing data models is preferred.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
