Data Modeler - Profile of Skillset

Lead development of complex Azure Analysis Services (AAS) Tabular models with large volumes of data and advanced business logic

Advanced proficiency in Power BI / AAS modeling – including M Query and DAX development

Deep knowledge of performance monitoring, tuning and optimization of AAS and PBI models

Creation of complex and efficient views in Azure Databricks (SQL and Scala) to support AAS Tabular modeling requirements

Think critically about the data model solutions you're delivering; understand it and expand its implications beyond the numbers alone

Analytical thought about modeling data and BI, identifying patterns and extracting actionable insights and information from the data made available
